The VCX n.8 is a high-end 300 MHz impedance controlled 100 Ohm multi-pair switch for selection 5 or 10 cable segments, with a capacity of 960 pairs. Each pair can individually be selected for 1 length, or with cascaded lengths depending on use test case. This high-end broadband switch is used to test broadband technologies like VDSL, Vector VDSL, G.fast .. be it according Telco proprietary test plans or according Standards such as TR-249, APT 337, WT-380 in a colocated or non-colocated configuration. Micro-interrupts, Noise Injectors and Noise Generation are selectable for each of the selected pair(s) to allow for any test configuration.
