ANG 2240-D8 is developed to test multi-pair transmission technologies like Vector VDSL and G.fast that require multi-pair noise generators and noise injections in order to mimic the deployed network infrastructure per bundle, per building, or per user. Such multiple port 50 Ohm noise generators and 100 Ohm noise injectors are equipped with adders, multipliers and digital noise banks that can be combined in order to safe on the number of required generator ports. The Sparnex Instruments broadband noise injectors are unique in a way that they are transparent for the Reverse Power Feeding, enabling the tester to run any Use Test case with or without additional noises, - independent if CPE's and DPU's are equipped with RFP, be it conform to the ETSI 101.548 or with PoE.
