The PLS 2015-F is a shielded 6-socket SiSo PLC tester up to 86 MHz that is expandable to 12 and 18 sockets with multiple PLS 2015-F. The system simulates all parameters of an in-home electricity network, including loads, disturbers, cable impedance, insertion loss, phase. Each couple of socket can be considered as a particular network, or part of a larger network. Used by chip designers, product vendors, and Telco operators it is the first test concept in the Broadband industry for comparable and reproducible tests results according different Use Test Cases. The PLS 2015 is used to benchmark PLC devices and to develop an interoperability Standard as set by HPVA2, Homegrid Forum and BBF/TR-208 according ITU-T G.hn and IEEE standards.
